Rod Wright – Education

Rod Wright faced incumbent State Assemblymember Mervyn Dymally in a Democratic Primary for the State Senate in June 2008. Former Assemblymember Wright had been out of office for several years. Dymally had been in public office more than 40 years and had a substantial name identification edge going in. This was the first of three similar pieces we mailed on three consecutive days to kick off our mailing program. Wright won the Primary by 10%.
